Photos show how the RV has been converted into a comfortable sleeping space with the interiors gutted to make way for a double mattress.

Airbnb guests can access the van via the back doors.

To make the stay as comfortable as possible, the hosts have decked out the accompanying treehouse with a small outdoor kitchen, a veranda, an outdoor shower and a compact travel toilet with compostable waste bags.

However, guests are warned that during the winter months the water might not work if the temperature drops below zero.

As there are no stores in the vicinity, guests can order a pizza kit to the camp which includes a ball of homemade dough, a bag of pepperoni, a bag of mozzarella cheese and cooking instructions.

And for dessert, there is a s’mores kit if you want to lean into the camping vibes, with marshmallows, chocolate, and graham crackers. Homemade chocolate chip cookies are also on offer.

So far the unique property has a five-out-of-five rating on Airbnb out of 153 reviews and the site says it is one of their ‘most loved homes.’

One guest left a glowing review after their stay in November, writing: ‘An awesome, secluded place to get away from the world.

‘Made last minute plans to stay at the Unimog for my second anniversary with my wife and couldn’t be happier.

‘It’s a cozy off-grid camping experience with great amenities and a helpful crew of folks that make you feel at home.’

Another happy camper said after checking out the spot in October: ‘If I could give it six stars I would! Fantastic stay!!! Loved every minute of this adventure. Immediate greeting from [host] Halee and she took care of us from start to finish.

‘We ordered the pizza kit with their fresh made dough. Amazing! The experience was a blast.

‘My son and I both made a personal pizza with the kit. The complimentary cookies were to die for. Flexible check in and check out. Lots of trails, we spent some time down at case rock, which is a short distance from the Unimog.

‘We loved this unique experience and cannot wait to come back! I had plenty of reception outside of the mog. Had everything we needed.’
