“It’s so simple…and you can take it from the hob to the oven to the table with absolute ease.”

Instructions

To begin, preheat the oven to 180C.

Place the chicken thighs and drumsticks in a cold shallow casserole dish, add one teaspoon of oil and then place on the stove on a high heat.

Cook for around 10 minutes until the chicken is golden all over and make sure to turn regularly so every side is cooked.

While the chicken is cooking, chop and peel the onions, then peel the orange.

Once the chicken is golden, add the orange peel, chopped onions, oregano and two tablespoons of red wine vinegar into the pan and mix well.

Season with salt and pepper and make sure the chicken is chicken side up, then place the casserole pan in the oven.

Roast for 45 minutes or until the chicken is falling off the bone.

When the chicken is done, place a frying pan on medium-high heat and squeeze in the orange juice. Then, cut the cherry tomatoes in half and add them to the pan.

Let the tomatoes sizzle and bubble until fully cooked, and then add it to the casserole dish.

Drizzle honey add over the chicken, add the pistachios and crumble the feta cheese on top of the dish.

Your tasty honey chicken is ready to serve. Jamie Oliver highly recommends serving with a couscous or “simple” salad.
