The actor spoke with Times of India in response to Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s tweet about Adil Hussain’s visage being altered in the film by artificial intelligence. Hussain, who is in the US currently, said that he has not seen Sandeep’s tweet and does not plan to do so. The actor further added that what he said was in an interview, not on social media. “I was completely shocked when I saw the film and I regret doing it. I will not change my stand, he concluded.
Sandeep wrote, “Your ‘belief’ in 30 art films didn’t get as much fame to you as your ‘regret’ of 1 BLOCKBUSTER film did. I regret casting you, knowing that your greed is bigger than ur passion. NOW I’ll save you from the shame by replacing your face with AI help. Now smile properly.”

He claimed to have gone to a theatre and left after 20 minutes. “I regret it till today. The only movie I have regretted doing is that film… Kabir Singh, ” said the ‘English Vinglish‘ actor.
For the unaware, Sandeep Reddy Vanga has often drawn criticism following his toxic masculinity stand and the way he treats women in his films. Arjun Reddy was the first, followed by Kabir Singh and then Ranbir Kapoor in Animal. The vengeful action drama earned a whopping amount of Rs 900 crore globally.
