If you want your final meal of 2023 to be memorable, then one of these high-priced restaurants promise to leave a lasting impression… not just on your mind, but on your bank balance too. 

DailyMail.com has gone about rounding up the most expensive New Year’s Eve feasts in the U.S. with the prices starting from $598 and ballooning to $1,500 per person (before tax and service has been added). 

The offerings range from a caviar-themed menu at a swanky spot in New York to a French-inspired feast at one of the world’s most revered restaurants in California.

Munch your way down to check out some of the meals that will help you see out this year with a real bang.

The Mark Hotel in New York, beloved by a roster of celebrities from Meghan Markle to Emma Watson, is home to a refined restaurant commandeered by Michelin-star chef Jean Georges Vongerichten.

This New Year’s Eve, he has rustled up a special menu for guests to enjoy priced at $598, with the accompaniments including live music and ‘a DJ into the night.’

To get things started, guests will be offered a glass of Ruinart champagne.

Then, in terms of the six food courses, Vongerichten has made use of a range of luxury ingredients including caviar, truffle and lobster, with the pièce de résistance being a seared wagyu beef tenderloin with black truffles, hash browns potatoes, and a caramelized onion jus.

To finish, chocolate lovers will be in heaven with an artfully presented chocolate trio.  

Party favors and a champagne toast at midnight are also part of the package.

Famed Parisian caviar purveyor Caviar Kaspia boasts a residency at The Mark Hotel in New York with the plush restaurant decked out like a Wes Anderson film set complete with bow tie-wearing servers.

This New Year’s Eve it is putting on a four-course chef’s menu for $625 per person, with a champagne toast included. 

For the first two courses, there will be a range of items to share, including salmon carpaccio, a trio of caviar, black truffle ravioli and jumbo grilled prawns. 

For mains, there will be choice of a wagyu sirloin, a baked potato with caviar or lobster thermidor. 

Topping it off, there are three desserts to share, with the options including a baba made with vodka, a raspberry and chocolate feuillantine and an opera cake.

The 55-seat fine dining restaurant, which has three Michelin stars, is owned by chef Kyle Connaughton and his wife, Katina. 

The 50 Best restaurant awards body deems it ‘a destination restaurant in Northern Californian wine country that combines chef Kyle’s unique Japanese cuisine with fresh ingredients grown on Katina’s farm.’ 

Past notable creations include black cod ‘fukkura-san’ (tagine-style) with leeks, and chamomile dashi and Guinea hen with red kuri squash. 

This New Year’s Eve, the husband-and-wife duo will be rustling up an 11-course tasting menu ‘inspired by the beautiful Sonoma winter season.’

Prices start at $650 per person, not including wine pairings. 

Both the early and late sittings on December 31 have sold out and are wait list only.

Located in one of the most romantic spots in New York next to the water in Brooklyn and opposite downtown Manhattan, the River Cafe has a multi-course extravaganza to woo diners this New Year’s Eve.

The one Michelin star eatery, which has been welcoming customers since 1977, has a $725 multi-course meal for December 31 with a champagne and caviar service and amuse bouche included.

There are eight starters to pick from, with the most indulgent creations being wagyu steak tartare with quail egg and hot foie gras served with a poached quince brulée. 

Moving on to mains, there are six options to suit all tastes, with the Nova Scotia lobster tail and a filet mignon Wellington prepared with foie gras and a pinot noir sauce being two of the standout picks.

For dessert, diners are presented with a trio of treats, with these coming in the form of a wild huckleberry and almond tartlet, a mini chocolate version of the Brooklyn Bridge, and a coffee ice cream pop.

There will be music throughout the evening with the positioning of the restaurant offering views of the Statue of Liberty fireworks in the distance.

The 14-seat basement counter spot on the edge of Koreatown in Manhattan is known for cooking up innovative Korean-inspired cuisine and with dishes ranging from sea urchin with steamed carrot cake to hot wagyu with cold noodles.

The later New Year’s Eve seating includes a champagne toast to ring in 2024 at midnight but there are no clues on what the 12-course tasting menu will feature. 

There is currently a waitlist for Atomix and all of their dining spots for January have also sold out.

The eatery was awarded its second Michelin star in 2019, which it maintains to this day.

The later dinner, priced at $895, features a five-course menu designed by executive chef Michael Haugstatter. 

Some of the options to choose from include lobster bisque, wild mushroom ravioli, dover sole with snow crab and acorn squash with a cashew puree. 

On the dessert side of things, diners will be presented with a quartet of sweet treats. 

Guests can work off some of the spread by dancing to live music throughout the evening in The Carlyle’s Art Deco lobby.

This New Year’s Eve, the decadent restaurant Los Fuegos by Francis Mallmann is offering places at the dinner table for $895, with the cost including a multi-course dining menu, an open bar, live music and access to a fireworks show in the garden. 

Some of the standout menu items include a truffle and ricotta ravioli to start, Chilean sea bass confit and black truffle for second course and a wood-fired Japanese Wagyu tenderloin for the main. 

Meanwhile, a golden croquembouche for two will serve as the celebratory dessert.

Keller’s flagship restaurant, which offers refined French fare, has maintained three Michelin stars since 2007 along with the Wine Spectator Grand Award, thanks to its extensive wine collection. 

As expected, his $1,000 New Year’s Eve offering immediately sold out but there is a wait list in case of any cancellations. 

The menu has not yet been revealed, but guests are told to expect a range of fine ingredients including Ossetra caviar, white and black truffles, and wagyu beef. 

Everyone will also be greeted with a flute of champagne on arrival and a gift from the famed chef on departure. 

Per Se: $1,150

Opened in 2004, Per Se at Columbus Circle in New York is chef Thomas Keller’s second three-Michelin-starred property after French Laundry. 

50 Best says that the kitchen maestro’s daily French-inspired tasting menus are ‘orchestrated with militaristic precision and unmatched finesse, with no single ingredient ever repeated throughout the meal.’

Keller’s dinner menu on New Year’s Eve is priced at $1,150 per person, with the wine accompaniment costing the same. 

There is no hint at what the 10 courses will involve, but the dinner will start with a glass of Dom Perignon champagne.

In terms of entertainment, there will be a live jazz band and the countdown to 2024 will conclude with a rosé champagne toast.

The lunch sitting, featuring seven courses, comes in at $685.

The upstairs dining room opened in 1997 and it has been awarded a Michelin Star for seven years running, which it retains to this day.

For New Year’s Eve, executive chef Edgar Panchernikov has put together a decadent menu to enjoy ‘as the last meal of 2023.’ 

Seats in the intimate upstairs dining room, which features just eight booth-style tables overlooking Madison Avenue, are priced at $1,500 per piece – making this spot the most expensive in North America this December 31. 

To kick things off, diners will be served 25 grams of gold osetra caviar with a glass of Dom Perignon champagne. 

The tasting menu will then commence, with the dishes comprising seared foie gras, the restaurant’s signature ‘Golden Egg’ (which combines a breadcrumbed runny egg, a dollop of caviar and a frothy cheese broth), seasonal white truffle over tagliatelle, and Dover sole swimming in as the entrée.

To finish, the restaurant’s team will whip up canelés topped with caviar, or course!
