On April 24, Sanjay Leela Bhansali in association with Netflix hosted a grand premiere of the upcoming magnum opus Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, and considering its cast and team, it was truly a glitzy evening with many celebrities making to the event. Sonakshi Sinha, who too essays the lead role along with other actresses like Manisha Koirala, Richa Chadha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sanjeeda Shaikh, and Sharmin Segal, graced the red carpet at the premiere screening and the actress decided to a few key moments from the glitzy evening.

Sonakshi Sinha captured and compilated several moments from the grand premiere of Heeramandi in a heartfelt Instagram post, which showcased the camaraderie and dedication poured into the making of the web-show. Sharing an emotional note along with a note of gratitude, Sona captioned it saying, “What a MAGICAL night!! Too many emotions, too many people, too much love, too many memories all that came to life on screen yesterday at the grand premier of #HeeraMandi??,” Sonakshi shared. “Thank you Sanjay sir for making me your Fareedan… So honored to share this moment with my stellar co-actors and the entire team that toiled day and night to create this magic!!! Set against the pre-Independence era, Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar aims at showcasing the story of courtesans, who once held reigning power as queens. With Manisha Koirala as Mallikajaan, Aditi Rao Hydari Bibojaan, Richa Chadha as Lajjo, Sanjeeda Sheikh as Waheeda, and Sharmin Segal as Alamzeb, the eight-episodic web-series also stars Shekhar Suman, Fardeen Khan, Adhyayan Suman, and Taha Shah as Nawabs. The show will premiere on May 1 on Netflix.
