The proud father of two, hosted a bash late Wednesday evening that saw some of his closest friends in attendance, including Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.Twinning in shades of black, the star couple was seen among the many celebrity guests at the director’s residence. However, there was no sign of baby Raha with the two. Choosing not to pose for the paparazzi, the two headed straight into their car and zoomed off.Also spotted at the house party were actors Aditya Roy Kapur and Arjun Kapoor. While Adi made a solo appearance at the bash, Arjun hitched a ride with director Rohit Dhawan.
Director Ayan Mukerji was also seen on his way out from the bash. His presence at the bash crushed rumours a fallout. Last year, rumours were rife that Ayan’s decision to helm ‘WAR 2’ instead of begin work on the KJo backed ‘Brahmastra 2’ created a rift between the two.
Also spotted at the bash was actress Rani Mukerji among other celebrity guests.
On the occasion of his children’s birthday, Karan dedicated a special social media post to the cuties and penned his heart out in a note that read, “Happiest birthday to the brightest sunshine (x2) of my life! My life is forever changed, for the best with you two coming into it with your goofy and adorable laughs, unadulterated sass towards ME and of course – an abundance of love to give to the world! Never change…grow up but never change.”
He went on to thank his mother, whom he called the strength to his family and said, “And thank you to my mom, who is forever the strength of our family…and being a mother figure to Yash & Roohi! Love you forever mom.”
On the work front, Karan is awaiting the release of his films like ‘Yodha’ and ‘Jigra’.
