Popular US fast food chain launches breakfast menu across the UK

A US food chain is adding more items to its UK branches by bringing out a breakfast menu.

Popeyes opened its doors in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1972 before making its way across the pond with its first UK branch in Westfield, Stratford in November 2021.

The popular fast food franchise now operates 3,400 restaurants across 25 countries with branches in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

Popeyes is set to launch 22 new items including muffins, breakfast rolls, sweet snacks and sides across seven further sites today.

This is what is being added to the menu and how much it’ll cost:

For those who are after some spice, the Big Cajun roll comes with a sausage, Cajun hash brown, a free-range egg and four smoked streaky bacon rashers. Prices start from £4.99.

But if you’re after something sweet and a classic from Popeye’s then their signature Louisiana Biscuit comes in cinnamon, Nutella, Hartley’s strawberry jam and honey flavours. Prices start from £1.50.

Foodies can pick up the new breakfast items until 11am in 22 Popeyes branches.

However, chain locations such as Westfield Stratford, Chelmsford, Derby, Romford, Ilford, Leicester, Ealing won’t be selling the new breakfast menu items.
