How to poach a egg in 45 seconds without using a pan or vinegar:

Poached eggs are one of the tastiest weekend breakfasts to cook, but people can often struggle with the technique required to make them.

Although it may seem easy to simmer eggs in a pan, it can be tricky getting the temperature and timing right which can cause it to become rubbery or broken apart if you get it wrong.

A common piece of cooking advice is to add vinegar to the pan before cracking in the egg to help it poach more easily, but one cook has shared that this is really not needed.

Dana Rebecca (@danarebeccadesigns) has shared that her mother’s simple method does not require vinegar or even a pan as all you need is a small bowl and microwave.

She claimed that she has recently discovered a cooking method which will get you a “perfect poached egg” every time without any effort.

Once she took it out of the microwave, Dana’s mother placed the poached egg on a plate and cut into it to reveal a perfectly springy poached egg with a jammy, runny and golden yolk inside.

In the comment section, social media users were amazed by the simple cooking technique and one user said that it would be a “game-changer” on cooking eggs perfectly.

One popular comment said: “Perfect! No more dirty pan for one egg.”

Another person wrote: “OMG!!! It worked! Thank you!”

Someone else commented: “I have been doing this for a long time and it’s the only way I know how to get a poached egg right every time.”
