Family Star Box Office Collection Day 3: Family Star, starring Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur, was finally released in theatres today, April 5, 2024. The movie’s third-day earnings were somewhat lower than its first due to insufficient demand despite a great deal of anticipation. The film made Rs 3 crore in India on its third day of release, bringing its total earnings to Rs 11.95 crore, according to a Sacnilk report. In both the Telugu and Tamil versions, Family Star’s overall occupancy rates were 269,43% and 19.83%, respectively.
The movie didn’t draw in many viewers even though it was the weekend and hadn’t had any major releases yet.

Family Star failed to cross the Rs 11 crore mark in just three days of release, making it Vijay Deverakonda’s lowest opening weekend ever at the box office. Samantha Ruth Prabhu starred in Deverakonda’s latest film, Khusi, which opened to almost three times more box office profits. The film earned Rs 15.25 crore on its first day alone. In just two days, the film has already exceeded the Rs 20 crore milestone. His 2022 Bollywood debut film Liger, starring Ananya Panday, made more than Rs 23 crore in only two days after opening a box office receipt of Rs 15.95 crore.

Vijay and Mrunal worked together on Parasuram Petla’s Family Star for the first time. In addition to supporting roles played by Abhinaya, Vasuki, Rohini Hattangadi, and Ravi Babu, the film has a cameo by Divyansha Kaushik.
Family Star tells the narrative of Govardhan, a devout family guy. Even though he leads a normal life, he isn’t scared to initiate conflict in order to defend and preserve his family’s dignity. His entire life transforms when he meets Indhu and falls in love with her.
The movie received certification, and pictures of the same quickly went viral online. Family Star is two hours, forty-three minutes and twenty seconds long, as per the viral certificate. The Censor Board has recommended five edits, including a sequence that uses an excessive amount of liquor labels and five swear words.
