Banana bread is a versatile recipe that is just as good at breakfast as it is as a sweet supper-time snack. One recipe claims to offer bread which stays “moist for days” – and has been so popular it became a “viral” hit online.
TikTok creator Grace Marie, from @givethemgrace, said she has to share her recipe for a second time after it “went so viral last time” she shared it.
“I love this recipe because it stays moist for days. If you try this let me know what you think,” she said.
The recipe is straightforward making it a great option for the whole family to get involved with and to top it off, it’s ready in under an hour.
To make the banana bread you simply need to add all of the ingredients to a bowl, mix and then transfer to a baking tin to cook. The banana bread takes between 45 and 50 minutes to bake in the oven.
Grace said: “Mash up three ripe bananas, add a half cup of melted butter, two eggs, a half cup of white and brown sugar, a half cup of milk, one teaspoon of vanilla, baking powder, baking soda, one-fourth teaspoon of cinnamon and salt, one and a half cups of flour.
“Mix it up, bake it in the oven at 350F (approximately 176C) for 40 to 50 minutes.”
Her TikTok has amassed more than 2,000 comments, with one user saying: “[I] made it. It was the best banana bread of my life.” [SIC]
A second added: “I made it yesterday. My very first time making banana bread and it was delicious. It came out perfect.”
How to make “easy” and “moist” banana bread
Ingredients
- Three ripe bananas
- Half a cup of melted butter
- Two eggs
- A half cup of white sugar
- A half cup of brown sugar
- A half cup of milk
- One teaspoon of vanilla
- One teaspoon of baking powder
- One teaspoon of baking soda
- A quarter teaspoon of cinnamon
- A quarter teaspoon of salt

1. Melt your butter
2. Mash up three ripe bananas
3. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix thoroughly
4. Pour your ingredients into a greased loaf pan
5. Bake at 176C or 350F for roughly 40 to 50 minutes.
