When asked what she might have done differently in The Archies, Zoya admitted, “I think there are certain things with the screenplay, I could have done differently. And, certain things with the marketing.” While she didn’t elaborate on the specific changes, it’s clear she has some hindsight.
For the unversed, Zoya Akhtar is a renowned filmmaker with critically acclaimed movies like Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Dil Dhadakne Do, Gully Boy, and segments in Lust Stories and Ghost Stories. She is also a board member of MAMI.
Speaking of The Archies, it marked the debut of Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan, Boney Kapoor-Sridevi’s daughter Khushi Kapoor, and Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda, among others. It was directly released on Netflix.
