Sidharth Malhotra, Raashii Khanna and Disha Patani starrer ‘Yodha‘ is releasing in theatres today. The film promises some big screen experience kind of action and the trailer looked impressive already. As far as the film’s advance bookings are concerned, it looks decent but looks like more tickets will be sold in the current bookings.
The film has managed to sell 70,000 tickets so far, across India and earned Rs 1.33 crore in the advance bookings of Day 1 according to Sacnilk. This is the number updated up till Friday morning. ‘Yodha’ has released in about 3000 screens. It is clashing with ‘Bastar‘ starring Adah Sharma which has a smaller release in 1500 screens. But the fact that it comes from the makers of ‘The Kerala Story’, it may give competition to ‘Yodha’ if the word of mouth is good.
The early reviews for ‘Yodha’ also look promising and hence, the film is expected to see a jump over the weekend. Sidharth has gained a lot of love with ‘Shershaah’ and ‘Indian Police Force’, but both were OTT releases. A big theatrical after a while would be a big deciding factor about his stardom and popularity among the audiences, especially the masses. ‘Yodha’ is also touted as one of his best, as far as the early reviews are concerned.
