Ranveer Singh is poised to enter Prasanth Varma’s Cinematic Universe, according to a statement from a source within the director’s team, affirming the news.
Ranveer Singh has always been loved by his fans. The actor can transform himself into any given character. Singh was last seen in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani, and now he is expected to join hands with HanuMan director Prasanth Varma for his next. If the collaboration happens it is going to be extremely interesting for the audience.
In a statement to Hindustan Times, a source from the director’s team revealed that Ranveer is ‘interested’ in working with the director but is yet to sign the film. The source said, “Yes, it’s true that Prasanth approached Ranveer for a film in his cinematic universe. It will be his immediate next project after HanuMan. Ranveer is interested, and it’s almost confirmed, but nothing is finalised yet. An official announcement will be made once it’s finalised. Mythri Movie Makers will be backing it.”
Previously, during the auspicious Ram Mandir Pran Prathistha ceremony, Prasanth Varma surprised everyone with the announcement of the next instalment, “Jai Hanuman.” However, it’s yet to be confirmed whether his upcoming project with Ranveer will indeed be “Jai Hanuman.”
Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter), Prasanth shared the news, and wrote, “With gratitude for the immense love and support showered upon #HanuMan from audiences across the globe, I stand at the threshold of a new journey by making a promise to myself! #JaiHanuman Pre-Production Begins on the auspicious day of Ram Mandir Pran Prathistha (folded hands emoticon).”
