Will CBSE Class 12th Board Exam 2024 Clash With JEE Main Session 2? Here’s What the Examination Controller Has to Say
CBSE Class 12 exams are set to start on February 15 and conclude on April 2, 2024. Meanwhile, JEE Main Session 2 examination will be conducted between April 1 to April 15. This raises the possibility of a clash in the examination dates between the CBSE board exams and JEE Main. Addressing this concern, Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj has assured that the board has taken measures to ensure a sufficient gap between these crucial exams. “While preparing the date sheet, the board has kept in mind that there is a sufficient gap between the two subjects. Dates of competitive exams like JEE have been kept in mind while deciding the schedule for class 12,” Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj said.
The examination schedules were carefully made to make sure that no two subjects share the same exam date, considering more than 40,000 different subject combinations. “The date sheets have been prepared by avoiding more than 40,000 subject combinations to ensure that no two subject exams fall on the same date,” Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj further added.

On the first day, exams for four subjects are scheduled for class 12th students. They are — Entrepreneurship, Kokborok, Capital market operation, and Physical Activity Trainer. - It is noteworthy that the overlap between the CBSE board exams and competitive exams such as JEE and NEET is not an unprecedented occurrence. This is primarily because they will be in the midst of their CBSE practical exams, which can make it difficult to focus on JEE Main preparation.
