Winderbaum underscored Marvel’s ongoing endeavors with Daredevil: Born Again and expressed sanguinity regarding future prospects, ambiguously remarking, “you never know.” Although refraining from definitive confirmation or negation, his statements sparked deliberations regarding the resurrection of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Nevertheless, the MCU has offered possible reasons for these differences. In Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, it was revealed that the Darkhold is a replication of the writings discovered on the walls of Mount Wundagore, and it is not the sole copy. Hence, the version depicted in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. could be another replica. Concerning the TVA, Loki Season 2 concluded with the organization shifting its focus from preserving the Sacred Timeline to monitoring Kang’s variants. If this transition transpired before S.H.I.E.L.D.’s time-travel voyages, then the TVA would not have had a rationale to intervene.
