Cavin Johnson’s Kaizer Chiefs are enjoying extended time on the training fields. When is the next game to show the work?

It’s been clearly evident that 2024 has been a dismal showing from Amakhosi. Chiefs have collected only one win five matches.
The results read: a 0-0 draw with Royal AM in KwaZulu Natal, a 5-4 loss on penalties at the FNB Stadium to Milford FC, a 0-0 draw with Moroka Swallows at home, a 1-0 win over Golden Arrows at home and a 3-2 loss to Orlando Pirates at the same Soccer City arena.
Unfortunately for Chiefs, the next game does not really look easy. Amakhosi will travel to the Western Cape to face Cape Town City. The match will be on Saturday, 30 March, from the Athlone Stadium at 15:30.

AMAKHOSI RETURN FOR NASREDDINE NABI
Meanwhile, the chats about a new Chiefs coach have not slowed down. New reports have said Amakhosi want to revisit the pursuit of Nabi.
As you may remember, Chiefs once nearly struck a deal with Nabi after he won a double treble with Young Africans in Tanzania. The Tunisian wanted to arrive with his own assistants, but Amakhosi bosses did not agree.
“I wanted [Chiefs] to give me a chance of coming with at least two members of my technical team who will help me,” Nabi said as quoted by Sports Arena.
“However, they told me they have individuals with running contracts, and firing them will be expensive. It became a challenge for me to agree; I realised they could not help me, and I decided to leave them alone,” Nabi added.
Fast forward to March 2024, Chiefs are reportedly planning to appoint Nabi as the next Chiefs coach. In the meantime, the Tunisian is edging closer to the Moroccan league title with his new club AS FAR.
The Chiefs target’s team is leading the title race ahead of giants Wydad Casablanca and Raja Casablanca. Nabi’s team are leading with four points with six games to go, with only two defeats, four draws and 18 wins in 23 games.
