WHATSAPP has introduced another new button that’s sure to save some users from missing important messages.
And it’s particularly helpful for people prone to losing big dates and events – especially at Christmas.
Gone are the days of needing to hopelessly search through chats.
The Meta-owned app now allows you and others to pin messages.
Doing so will keep them at the top of the chat where you can’t miss it.
The feature not only works for bog-standard messages but also polls and images.
Users can opt to pin the message for a specific duration – either 24 hours, seven days or 30 days.
It’ll be set to seven days by default.
And group admins need not worry about people randomly pinning messages – they can choose who has the power to pin in the settings.
Of course, it’s not the first pinned option in WhatsApp.
