Vivo BlueImage imaging technology details
According to Jia Jingdong, Vice President of Branding at Vivo (via Weibo), BlueImage addresses typical photography challenges such as capturing images with backlighting, low-light conditions, especially with the telephoto lens, group photos, and other related issues.
Additional details regarding the technology are yet to be revealed, but it will incorporate technologies similar to the V-series of imaging chips. This debuted towards the end of 2021, and the most recent one, the Vivo V3 imaging chip, is used in the Vivo X100 series phones.
The official also mentioned that Vivo is extending its partnership with Zeiss to continue co-developing lenses for its smartphones. The company also plans to implement full high-frequency PWM dimming for image browsing on the screen.
Vivo X100 Ultra key details (expected)
It is not officially confirmed, but the Vivo X100 Ultra will likely be unveiled in China in May. Meanwhile, as per reports, the upcoming Vivo X100 Ultra will boast a Samsung E7 AMOLED 2K screen and feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
It might come with a 50MP Sony LYT 900 main camera with a 1-inch sensor size. Meanwhile, other sensors will likely include a 50MP ultrawide lens, a 50MP telephoto sensor, and a 200MP periscope telephoto lens.
The phone might house a 5,000mAh battery, featuring 50W wireless charging and 100W wired charging. However, it is worth noting that these specifications are based on speculations and tips. The exact details will be known at the launch.
