Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s 12th Fail, which captured the audience’s hearts in October, is now set to make its digital debut on Disney+ Hotstar. Starring Vikrant Massey alongside Medha Shankar, Anant V Joshi, Anshumaan Pushkar, and Priyanshu Chatterjee, the film sheds light on the real-life journeys of IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma and IRS officer Shraddha Joshi.

The Instagram post from the streaming service teased the film’s release, stating, “If there is one movie you must watch before 2024 starts, this one has to be it! #12thFail streaming on 29th December.” The announcement has sparked anticipation among fans of the film, who are eager to delve into the inspiring and engaging narrative brought to life by Vikrant Massey and the ensemble cast.
12th Fail is based on the life of the real-life IPS (Indian Police Service) officer Manoj Kumar Sharma. It told the story of the obstacles he faced in achieving his goal to be an IPS officer by never giving up. The film is adapted from author Anurag Pathak’s book of the same name, which tells the story of Sharma.
12th Fail also stars Medha Shankar as Massey’s love interest along with Sanjay Joshi, Anant V Joshi and Anshumaan Pushkar.
