When it comes to comedy movies, Anees Bazmee is someone who has multiple films to his credit. The filmmaker has made films like Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Welcome, Pagalpanti among others. Some time ago there were rumours that Varun Dhawan will be teaming up with Bazmee soon for a film. It was reported that the actor will be seen in his comic, directorial venture 5 Minute Ka Superhero. However, the latter denied the news.
While talking to us Varun recently mentioned that the two will indeed team up soon, not for that film, but something really exciting. He said, “Anees Sir and I are in touch for a lot of stuff and we keep meeting each other. Hopefully, you will see us work together soon.”
In fact, for now, the actor who’s known for his comic timing and his comic films like Main Tera Hero, Coolie No. 1 and Judwaa 2 says that this year his focus is not comedy. He will be seen in an action avatar in his larger-than-life film which is titled VD18. The year’s going to be quite productive for Varun who shares that there’s going to be a lot more announcements related to work. Between all this, what’s the one mantra he follows for work-life balance? “I think you should not play around with your health. You can be more productive if you take care of your health and you are more disciplined with that,” he signs off.
