Twinkle Khanna, the accomplished actor turned author, recently shared her unique experience as a master’s student in fiction writing at Goldsmiths, University of London.
In an interaction with Hello Magazine, Twinkle revealed how she seamlessly blended into the diverse student body, going unnoticed until she had to introduce herself. Despite her celebrity status, Twinkle confessed that her classmates were oblivious to her identity.She had to create a bio and introduce herself like everyone else. In the introduction, she even joked about her name.
Twinkle further shared her initial concerns about making friends and finding her place in the academic community. Worried about lunch companions and corridor walks, she discovered camaraderie through a group presentation assignment. This turned into lasting friendships, and from then on, she never ate lunch alone.

In a heartwarming Instagram post last month, Twinkle marked her graduation day, reflecting on her journey at Goldsmiths. She shared a video capturing the momentous occasion and expressed gratitude for the support of her family. Twinkle’s husband, actor Akshay Kumar, also joined her at the ceremony, and she playfully referred to herself as “Master Twinkle.”
Akshay Kumar, acknowledging his wife’s accomplishment, posted a heartfelt message on social media. Describing Twinkle as a “super woman,” he expressed pride in her ability to balance academics, home, career, and family.
