Trump Rallies Now Feature The Word ‘Bloodbath’ On Podium

Donald Trump has fully embraced the word “bloodbath” after complaining that “the LIARS in the Fake News & Democrat Party” had misquoted him.

Trump made the statement — “it’s gonna be a bloodbath for the country, that’ll be the least of it” — during a rally speech in Ohio last month while talking about China and the U.S auto industry. He claimed afterward that the media was taking him out of context by insinuating that he was encouraging violence, and his campaign even used that pitch in a fundraising email.

Now, Trump has decided to “lean in” to the word and apply it in a new slogan for the migrant situation at the southern border: “Stop Biden’s Border Bloodbath.”

On Saturday, MSNBC’s Ali Velshi noted Trump’s change of heart.

“Rather than move on from the controversy about the “bloodbath,” his campaign is using the term as part of a new anti- Biden slogan instead,” Velshi said, continuing:

At an event in Michigan on Tuesday, the former president spoke from behind a podium that had a placard on it that read, quote, “Stop Biden’s Border Bloodbath.” Not about Chinese cars.

The Republican National Committee has even paid for a new website using that slogan to criticize Biden’s immigration policies. It’s no secret that the American immigration system is deeply broken. But there’s no bloodbath at the border. There’s no invasion.

These are outrageous lies, just like the false claim that crime is on the rise around the country. But, we know what this is about. It’s about fear and fear mongering. The real strategy at play here. It’s worked for other autocrats in the past unfailingly, including for Trump, who began fear mongering about immigrants from the moment he launched his first presidential bid in 2015.
