Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur’s romantic family ‘The Family Star‘ won the hearts of people after it was released on the big screen. Post the success of the film’s theatrical release, Vijay and Mrunal-starrer is set to hit the OTT platform. However, the film might have a faceoff from the Tollywood romantic crime-comedy Tillu Square. Both films will be available for streaming on the same date.

Featuring Vijay Deverakonda, and Mrunal Thakur in lead, the movie The Family Star is a heartwarming look at a middle-class family. The film centres on Vijay, a man grappling with personal conflicts and ambitions as he strives for a better life. Helmed by Parasuram, the movie will be available for streaming from April 26 on Amazon Prime Video. Apart from Mrunal and Vijay, the movie also featured Rohini, Jagapathi Babu, Vasuki and Abhinaya as pivotal characters.

Tillu Square brings back Siddhu Jonnalagadda as the hilarious DJ Tillu (Bala Gangadhar Tilak) searching for his love, Lilly Joseph (played by Anupama Parameswaran). But their love story takes a twist when Tillu stumbles upon a mysterious murder. Directed by Mallik Ram, this dark romantic comedy promises laughter and thrills. Muralidhar Goud, Murali Sharma, and Neha Shetty also star in pivotal roles. Tillu Square releases on Netflix on April 22.
