According to awards and surveys, one airline blows the competition out of the water when it comes to the ultimate opulence at 35,000ft.
Singapore Airlines was named the “best of the best” first-class airline cabin as part of the 2023 accolades dished out by airline ranking website Skytrax. Similarly, Condé Nast Traveller has also awarded the airline the title of best first class cabin based on reader surveys.
Though the first class cabin may differ slightly based on the aircraft you are travelling on, experts from Business Insider say the Airbus A380 first class cabin is the ultimate when it comes to luxurious fixtures and amenities.
Singapore Airlines prides itself on offering “wall-to-wall comfort” in first class. Behind the private doors of the suite, you’ll find hand-tufted carpets, ultra-leather padded compartments and even an ensuite wardrobe, spacious enough to store your coat and cabin luggage.
The suite also features window blinds that close at the touch of a button for the ultimate me-time.
