Set within eight acres of private grounds, The Norfolk Mead Hotel in Coltishall is a Georgian country house that’s home to several treatment rooms.

Later this year, the Norfolk hotel is set to become the first place in the UK where Brits can enjoy a beer spa experience without having to board a plane.

Guests will be able to “immerse” themselves in a wooden hot tub at The Norfolk Mead Hotel.

According to the hotel’s website, the wooden hot tub will be filled with vitamin-rich malt and hops.

Each of the beer spas are equipped with their very own personal beer tap too, giving guests the chance to sample a local beer from Norfolk Woodforde’s Brewery beer.

Other features include a Thermal Suite with a hydrotherapy pool, an herbal steam room, an experience shower, and a foot spa.

There will also be an Outdoor Oasis with an aromatic sauna, a hot tub and cold shower buckets.

Other new features are set to include a Coffee Lounge and a Conservatory Restaurant, which serves tapas and afternoon tea.

The new beer spa will open in June, with Brits able to book a visit from the March 25, 2024.

Before these exciting new additions open at The Norfolk Mead Hotel later this year, there are plenty of other treatments that can currently be booked, including facials, manicures, and pedicures.

Overnight stays can also be booked too, with rooms starting from £145 per night, based on two people sharing a room.

The hotel has been praised by holidaymakers on TripAdvisor with a 5/5 star rating from more than 1,700 reviews.

One person said: “We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Norfolk Mead hotel. We ate in the restaurant both nights and the food was excellent.”

While another added: “We had a fantastic stay at the Norfolk mead in the samphire room. The room was very clean had all the amenities we needed and the food was great!”
