The long-awaited thriller drama, ‘The Resurrection of the Seven’, has finally given fans a glimpse of its upcoming season with the release of an official teaser. This series serves as the second installment of the hit drama ‘The Escape of the Seven’, which first captivated audiences in 2023.
Released on March 1, the teaser offers a peek into the thrilling narrative of the upcoming season.The story revolves around seven individuals united by a common goal: seeking vengeance against a notorious antagonist whose heinous actions have left a trail of devastation. Building upon the suspenseful storyline of the previous season, which explored the intertwined fates of seven adversaries, who got captured in the evil scheme of the nefarious Matthew Lee. This star-studded lineup includes renowned actors such as Uhm Ki Joon portraying Matthew Lee, Hwang Jung Eum as Geum Ra Hee, Lee Yoo Bi as Han Mo Ne, Lee Joon as Min Do Hyuk, Yoon Tae Young as Kang Ki Tak, Yoon Jong Hoon as Yang Jin Mo, and Leo Deok Hwa as Bang Chil Sung, among others.
Adding to the excitement, CNBLUE member Lee Jung Shin joins the cast for the new season, taking on the role of Hwang Chan Sung, a talented CEO who becomes a crucial figure in Matthew Lee’s elaborate plan.
The series is directed by Joo Dong Min, known for his work on the popular ‘The Penthouse’ series and as the director of the first season of ‘The Escape of the Seven’.
