The Baby Pink Nail Colour Trend Is Surprisingly Chic

I don’t know about you, but over the last few weeks I’ve had all kinds of colours on my nails, from glittery red to festive green and even a bright gold shade for New Year’s Eve. With 2024 now in full swing, I’ve never been more ready to switch back to a more “boring” nail colour that I know will go with everything in my wardrobe. I tend to always opt for nude or black nails when January rolls around, but in the spirit of trying something new, this year I decided to switch things up and go for a baby pink shade. Although I’m not usually a fan of pink, after seeing this option in my nail salon, I was immediately impressed by how chic it looked. Although it’s not super adventurous, it felt good to try something different, and I’ve had so many compliments on my manicure ever since my appointment.

The great thing about this shade is that it’s still “boring” enough that it will compliment any outfit, yet it adds a slight hint of colour and makes your nails look so elevated. You can wear this trend in lots of different ways too, from baby pink French tips to fun nail art depending on your preferences. It seems I’m not the only one who is a fan, as the hashtag #babypinknails currently has over eighteen million views on TikTok alone. As a beauty editor, I think it’s the perfect colour for January and beyond, so I’ve put together some of my favourite baby pink nail inspo pics for you to take to your next appointment. I’ve also linked some of my top nail polishes to recreate the chic manicure at home, just keep on scrolling for all the info…
