PORT DICKSON: A group of men repairing a burst pipe found human skeletal remains at an oil palm plantation in Siliau near here.
Deputy OCPD DSP Muhamad Mustafah Hussin said a police team dispatched to the area later found a skull and other bones near the other skeletal remains.
“We did not find any clothes, personal documents, weapons or other items that could be linked to the discovery.
“There is also nothing to point to a crime as yet,” he said in a statement.
The case, he said, has been classified as sudden death for now.
DSP Muhamad Mustafah urged anyone with information related to the case to contact Lukut station chief Sub Insp Lim Hooi Boon at 016-331 8360 or 06-647 2222.
He also advised the public not to spread unsubstantiated or misleading statements as this was an offence.
