As many as seven persons lost their lives after earthquake of magnitude 7.2 jolted Taiwan on April 03. Quoting Taiwan’s state media, Reuters has reported that it was the strongest earthquake in the last 25 years. Fellow at Taiwan-Asia Exchange Foundation, Sana Hashmi recalled the traumatic situation during the quake. In an exclusive interview with ANI, she informed about the prevailing situation in Taiwan following earthquake. She also explained how Indian authorities in Taiwan and the Indian diaspora responded after the quake. According to the Government of Taiwan, 4 persons lost their lives, 711 people sustained injuries.
