The tech giant has emailed some customers about the update, letting them know it includes “network stability and performance improvement,” according to 9to5Google.

The bug left some Pixel owners reportedly missing some calls and text messages.

Instead of dialling through, calls would go straight to voicemail instead of ringing.

While some text messages have been seemingly lost in the ether.

The Pixel devices affected include:

  • Pixel 7
  • Pixel 7 Pro
  • Pixel 7a
  • Pixel Fold
  • Pixel 8
  • Pixel 8 Pro

Pixel owners who have been experiencing the bug should update their devices as soon as the software patch is made available.

According to Google, the “update will roll out globally to the regions and carriers impacted over the coming weeks.”
