Congress MP Shashi Tharoor hit out at the Bharatiya Janata Party on February 27. While speaking about the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Tharoor went on to say that the BJP isn’t going a win a single seat in Kerala as their support base is limited in the state. Taking a jibe at the central government, Tharoor went on to say that the BJP’s appeal of Hindutva doesn’t thrive well in Kerala. Congress MP Shashi Tharoor said, “I don’t think the BJP is going to win a single seat in Kerala. Their strongest performance has always been in Thiruvananthapuram, where they came twice… I think the BJP’s support base is limited in our state. Their kind of appeal based on Hindutva, Hindi, Hinduism, and Hindustan doesn’t thrive very well here in Kerala.”
