He told Bollywood Bubble that Farzi was very special to him because it was a very big risk. “A lot of people around said that why are you getting into OTT and you’re a mainstream actor and you just had Kabir Singh and COVID and all that was happening at that time,” he added, further stating that he wanted to do Farzi and got the result more than what they expected.
Shahid also acknowledged the love and support he received from the fans. He said that the goal is never to disappoint the audience by falling short of their expectations but instead striving to meet and exceed their expectations is the constant endeavor.

“That’s what I try to do for my director as an actor and that’s what I want to do as an actor for my audience you know that can I give you more than what you expected and that for me is like that’s where you want to set the bar that okay this is what you feel, let’s see how it surprise you. For me, that is exciting as an actor,” he added.
On the work front, Shahid will be seen sharing screen space with Kriti Sanon in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. Veteran actor
Dharmendra is also a part of the project. Directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, the film will be released on February 9.
Apart from this, Shahid also has Deva with Pooja Hegde in his kitty. The cast recently finished shooting for the film’s first schedule. The film will be released in theatres on the occasion of Dussehra 2024.
