The film’s high-octane action sequences will be choreographed by Siddharth Anand, who previously collaborated with Shah Rukh Khan on ‘Pathaan.’ Anand has reportedly been entrusted with assembling a top-tier international team to deliver action sequences of global magnitude.

Despite Bollywood Hungama estimating ‘The King’s’ budget at Rs 200 crore, sources suggest it could exceed or match that figure due to the ambitious vision for the film. Shah Rukh Khan will portray a mentor to Suhana’s character, with the movie purportedly echoing the essence of the acclaimed 1994 action film ‘Leon.’
‘The King’ is slated to commence filming later this year, as the project is currently in the pre-production phase. The team aims to release the film in 2025. While Suhana Khan made her acting debut with ‘The Archies’ last year, this venture would mark her inaugural appearance on the big screen.
‘The King’ will be Shah Rukh Khan’s first project following the successes of blockbusters like ‘Pathaan,’ ‘Jawan,’ and ‘Dunki.’ After completing ‘The King,’ he is expected to commence filming for ‘Pathaan 2.’
