Shah Rukh Khan says when he saw ‘Dunki’, he felt that Rajkumar Hirani has made a love story for the first time – WATCH

Shah Rukh Khan is known for his romantic on-screen image, however, the actor has been trying to re-invent himself always. He got to do some hard-core action in ‘Pathaan‘ after 30 years of his career and he followed it up with the blockbuster ‘Jawan‘. SRK will now be seen collaborating with Rajkumar Hiranifor the first time. Hirani is known to make films with a social message mixed with a lot of comedy and emotions.It starsTaapsee Pannu opposite SRK and also has Vicky Kaushal, Boman Irani among other actors.
However, ahead of the release of ‘Dunki‘, SRK said an an event today in Dubai, SRK revealed that Hirani has never made a film like this. He said, “Jab humne film dekhi toh humko lagaa ke Raju Hirani sahab ne pehli baar love story banaa di hai which spans ages (We thought Raju has made a love story for the first time). It’s a very touching film. Dil mein joh hamare ghar ke liye, apne logon ke liye, apne pyaar ke liye joh hota hai woh dikhega. It’s a film about love. But Raju doesn’t like to show much of his movie in trailers, as he likes you to come to theatres and witness it.”

SRK also expressed that while he did ‘Pathaan’ and ‘Jawan’ for the audience, ‘Dunki’ is something very personal to him. He decided to do this film for himself. ‘Dunki’ is set to release on December 21. The advance bookings have already begun. The film is set to clash with Prashanth Neel’s ‘Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire’ at the box office and it’s indeed going to be a tough fight!
