Scotland vs Northern Ireland preview
Friday was great for a long period for Steve Clarke’s side in Amsterdam, before it all sort of fell apart.
There was a severe lacking of cutting edge, with clinical finishing the major difference between the two sides as the Dutch ran out 4-0 winners in the end.
The substitutes didn’t help themselves either as the performance levels dropped off somewhat towards the end of the game.
It’s all things for Clarke to ponder but things need to change soon.
That’s now six games without a win for Scotland, four of those games ending in defeat.
Northern Ireland are in a transition period and look to be coming out the other side of that with a couple of credible results.

The team looked solid defensively in the most part for about 70 minutes or so on Friday.
Aaron Hickey was a huge miss at right wing back, though it’s likely the other four that started will be the defence come that opening game.
