Saudi volunteers helped more than 75 million people in 2023

MAKKAH: The Presidency for Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque launched the “Digital Bags” program, which presents booklets by well-known scholars and Islamic preachers to Umrah visitors.

The program aims to promote moderation and religious awareness among the growing number of Umrah performers at the holy sites.

Visitors can enter the Digital Bags program by scanning the barcode of the desired booklet, accessing its entire contents and enabling sharing with other people.

The presidency has carried out numerous religious activities and programs, including donation drives, during Ramadan.

More activities are being held in the last days of the holy month, which will witness the influx of millions of Umrah performers and visitors to the two holy mosques.

The presidency is easing access to religious services by investing in technology, digitization, modern media, AI, governance and digital institutional work, spreading the moderate message of Islam globally in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
