SAMSUNG is sharing the love when it comes to its Galaxy AI features, which include significant boosts to cameras, phone editing and note taking,

In an announcement regarding more language support for its sparkly new AI features, the Korean phone company confirmed that more devices will soon gain access to Galaxy AI.

Galaxy AI was officially unveiled at the beginning of the year, alongside Samsung’s Galaxy S24 series.

Galaxy AI is currently available on these devices:

  • Galaxy S24 series
  • Galaxy S23 series
  • Galaxy S23 FE
  • Galaxy Z Flip5
  • Galaxy Tab S9 series

But there is mention of that list growing sometime soon.

9to5Google reckons these devices could be next in line to receive Galaxy AI:

  • Galaxy S22 series
  • Galaxy Z Fold 4
  • Galaxy Z Flip 4

One fan-favourite feature is the ability to magically expand your photo beyond what was taken.

Other tools include the ability to remove unwanted objects – or people – as well as move or enlarge them.

There’s also an AI Live Translate Call feature, which rolled out in March, which lets users get live translation for calls in multiple languages.

It’ll also summaries your messages and emails for you, which could be especially handy for friends that like to send essay texts.

The Sun saw first hand how it can change the tone of a text or communication for you – so you can write a rough few lines and it’ll make suggests of a more formal tone, a conversational tone, or a polite tone for example.

Samsung has even embedded AI into its wallpaper creation.

It uses a generative AI model that can generate high quality text, images – and in this case, wallpapers, at the drop of a hat.

It’s possible that older handsets won’t get all the same AI features as the Galaxy S24 lineup – but it’s certainly better than none.
