Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra confirmed
The ‘Ultra’ model has been restricted to Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S series but it looks like the brand is expanding it to the foldable lineup. Android Headlines have spotted a Samsung phone with the model number SM-F958N, which it says is the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra.
This model number has been previously associated with the Ultra foldable. The assumption comes from the number ‘8’, which Samsung keeps for the Ultra models. The previous foldables have their model numbers ending in 6. Hence, it’s strongly believed that this is indeed the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra.
The report adds that Samsung will introduce this phone as part of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 lineup this summer. Judging by the name, it would be the most expensive model in the series. It’s speculated that even if the Galaxy Z Fold 6 does launch, the handset will be exclusive to South Korea.
No other detail about the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra was revealed in the report but it’s highly expected to come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. We’re expecting more details on the Ultra model to leak soon.
Samsung’s second Galaxy Unpacked event is rumoured to take place on July 10th in Paris. This is where the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Z Flip 6 will be announced. The new Galaxy Watch 7 series and Galaxy Ring are also expected to launch at this event making this a highly anticipated one.
