Samsung Galaxy M55 5G price in Brazil
The Galaxy M55 5G is priced at BZR 2,699 which rounds off to around Rs 45,000. It comes in a single 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. The smartphone comes in two colour options: Light Green and Dark Blue.
Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy M55 5G in more markets including India later this year. Here, it will most likely arrive in more than one variant and possibly a cheaper price tag as well.
Samsung Galaxy M55 5G: what’s new
The Galaxy M55 5G has launched as a successor to the Galaxy M54 5G. It features the same design language with curved edges and a punch-hole display. In terms of upgrades, you get a better 50MP front camera from a 32MP sensor on the Galaxy M54 5G. The primary sensor has been dropped though, from 108MP to 50MP.
Samsung has also opted for the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC for the Galaxy M55 5G. Its predecessor is powered by the in-house Exynos 1380 SoC. Interestingly, the battery size has been reduced to 5000mAh from 6000mAh.

Samsung Galaxy M55 5G features a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED Plus display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,000 nits peak brightness. Under the hood of the phone runs the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
The smartphone has a triple camera setup at the back featuring a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies, you get a 50MP front camera on the Galaxy M55 5G. It packs a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. On the software front, the smartphone runs on Android 14 with One UI 6.1 layered on top.
With the Galaxy M55 5G you also get dual speakers, NFC, Wi-Fi 6 a USB Type-C port, and IP67 rating for dust and water resistance. The smartphone also has an in-display fingerprint sensor.
