Sameer Wankhede Files Rs 11 Lakh Defamation Case Againt Rakhi Sawant And Munmun Dhamecha’s Lawyer

Sameer Wankhede Files Defamation Suit Against Rakhi Sawant and Lawyer Ali Kaashif Khan Who Represented Munmun Dhamecha in the drugs bust case.

Former Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) officer Sameer Wankhede has taken legal action against Rakhi Sawant and advocate Ali Kaashif Khan (Munmun Dhamecha’s lawyer) for saying things that he believes are untrue and damaging to his reputation. Khan represented model Munmun Dhamecha in the drugs bust case. Sameer Wankhede has asked for Rs 11 lakh from both of them for defamation.

It all started after Ali Kaashif Khan gave an interview to a news channel where he said things about Sameer Wankhede. Now, Sameer has acted on it and said it’s a ‘deliberate lie’, ‘concocted’ and baseless’. Sameer said Ali Kaashif Khan called him a ‘media obsessed’ and accused him of targeting celebrities. Wankhede said during his time as a government officer he always did his job honestly.

Another thing that Ali Kaashif Khan said was Sameer Wankhede files fake cases and misuses certain laws. Giving hints on Rhea Chakraborty’s case, Khan said Sameer misused section 29.

Sameer mentioned in his defamation complaint that Ali Kaashif Khan also posted bad things about him on social media. The lawyer has reshared a post dropped by Rakhi Sawant on his handle which caused further damage to his reputation. Claiming that he faced continuous mental agony, emotional distress and harassment due to Khan’s baseless allegations, Sameer Wankhede sought Rs 11,55,000 in compensation in his application against both Sawant and Khan.
