Salman Khan leaves his house for the first time after the gun fire incident

Mumbai: Salman Khan on Monday night left his Mumbai residence for the first time after the gunfire incident. The actor left Galaxy apartment in his private car surrounded by heavy security and a police vehicle. The visuals of the superstar leaving the building in his car went viral on social media. A paparazzo account shared the video of the actor’s white car entering the Galaxy apartment late on Monday night.

Salman‘s security has been beefed up after five shots were fired outside his Mumbai residence on Sunday morning. Nobody was injured during the incident. However, it was reported that the actor’s father, Salim Khan left the building with his friends for a morning walk around 40 minutes before the shots were fired outside the house. In a new update shared by Mumbai Police on Tuesday morning, both the shooters were arrested and presented to the court. As per an update in Zee News, the police demanded a 14-day custody of both shooters in the court citing international links with the Bishnoi gang. It has also been reported that the shooters were living 10 km away from Salman’s Panvel farmhouse. The police are also investigating if the initial plan was to attack the farmhouse and not the Galaxy apartments.

Meanwhile, Salman’s family on Monday evening released a long statement, calling the whole incident ‘disturbing’ and ‘unnerving’. The statement shared by Salman’s brother, Arbaaz Khan, mentioned that the entire family is highly affected by the incident and all the reports which mention that it was a ‘publicity stunt’ are false. The statement further mentioned that one should not believe anyone claiming to be close to the family as every member is right now simply thinking about their safety and trying their best to help Mumbai police in the investigation.

Salman has reportedly been on top of gangster Lawrence Bisnoi’s hit list for a few years. The jailed gangster earlier threatened the actor for his life, citing the 1998 blackbuck hunting incident that took place during the shooting of Hum Saath Saath Hain in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The case is currently sub judice.
