Redmi 13 5G battery, charging, and processor details tipped: here’s what we know

Redmi 13 5G model numbers, internal codename

  • Folks over at Android Headlines have discovered snippets revealing that Redmi 13 5G is internally called “Breeze” and carries the codename ‘N19’.

  • The Redmi phone could come in different SKUs (Stock Keeping Units) with two model numbers 2406ERN9CI and 2406ERN9CC. The ‘RN’ in this string of letters denotes Redmi.
  • Additionally, a model with the number 24066PC95I has also been found and the ‘PC’ in it implies POCO. This is believed to be Redmi 13 5G rebadged as POCO M7 5G.
  • Moreover, the ‘I’ in the name suggests the Indian edition and the ‘C’ indicates the Chinese variant. So, POCO M7 5G seems to be slated for India.
  • The phone could first debut in China and then make its way to India.

Redmi 13 5G specifications (expected)

A new post on Weibo not only confirms some of the details above but also spills the key specifications of Redmi 13 5G.

  • Processor: The Redmi 13 5G could borrow the same Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC from its predecessor. It’s a 4nm chipset with a top 2.2 GHz clock speed and Adreno 613 GPU.
  • Software: The phone could ship with Android 14-based HyperOS version OS1.0.1.0.UNWCNXM. The Redmi 12 5G had come in with Android 13-based MIUI 14.
  • Battery: Inside, there could be a 5,000mAh cell as well just like the Redmi 12 5G. However, the charging speed could increase from 18W to 33W in the new phone.

That’s all we have for now. So, it could bring the same chip and battery as its precursor but the charging speed and software could change. Let’s wait and see what else it brings new to the table.
