Ravi Kishan reminisced about working with Salman Khan on the set of ‘Tere Naam‘ and revealed an interesting detail about their dynamic. Portraying the role of a priest in the film, Ravi disclosed that he consciously kept his distance from Salman during filming. When asked about Salman’s demeanor on set, especially considering the challenges in his personal life at the time, Ravi shared his perspective.
In an interview with Lallantop Cinema, Ravi said that on the set of ‘Tere Naam’, he would give Salman Khan space.That character (Radhe) was intense. That’s how Satish Kaushik (director) wanted it. Salman was probably lost in the character too. Ravi would stay away from Salman on the set.
During the release of ‘Tere Naam’ in 2003, Salman Khan was embroiled in legal troubles stemming from a hit-and-run case in 2002, which resulted in a man’s death. Additionally, his highly publicised relationship with Aishwarya Rai ended amidst allegations of abuse, adding to the rough phase in his personal life.
Ravi revealed that he and Salman used to meet after packing up for dinner or something. Their friendship grew during this time. His brother Sohail and he have been friends since childhood. He was aware of him but Kishan was not a star then. Ravi stated that Salman and he are still friends. They talk on the phone also.
Ravi Kishan will soon be seen in the film ‘Laapataa Ladies’ and Netflix series ‘Mamla Legal Hai’.
