Rape charge on CMD: Woman undergoes medical test | India News

AHMEDABAD: Police officials investigating a Bulgarian women’s rape charges against Rajiv Modi, chairman and managing director of Cadila Pharmaceuticals, said the complainant on Monday underwent a medical test at Sola Civil hospital.
Inspector R H Solanki of Sola police said, “On Monday, we conducted the complainant’s medical test, which is necessary under law,” adding that her statement in the FIR is yet to be recorded.
Following a Gujarat high court order, Sola police on Sunday filed an FIR against the CMD under IPC sections 376, 354, and 504.
Meanwhile, Gujarat DGP Vikas Sahay on Monday stated that the probe will be monitored by Chirag Koradia, additional commissioner of police, Sector-1, Ahmedabad city.
