It has been revealed that the Electric Range will have an 800-volt electric architecture, which will allow it to have rapid charging.

The luxury car maker Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has dropped the first teaser of its upcoming battery-powered Range Rover Model, calling it the “quietest & most refined Range Rover ever created.” The EV is all set to make its global debut next year. However, the brand is yet to share the exact release date.

The company has already asked interested customers to put their names on the waiting list. This will help them to avoid long waiting periods, and allow them to pre-book the vehicle on priority.

Range Rover Electric Road Test

It has been reported by the official that the massive SUV has completed the required virtual tests, and is ready to go through an extreme road test. The company will check its capabilities, power, range, and comfort level on bumpy roads.

Officials say that the upcoming EV will provide similar power as the flagship Range Rover V8 model, and will treat customers with top-notch advanced features.

While the company is keeping most of the specs details under curtains, it has revealed that the Electric Range will have an 800-volt electric architecture, which will allow it to have rapid charging. The e-SUV will have a water-wading capability of up to 850 mm, making it the safest electric-powered vehicle in the segment.

Reacting about the upcoming product, Range Rover’s Managing Director Geraldine Ingham said, after seeing the highest levels of client demand in the 53-year history, the brand entering a new era for the Range Rover brand, making it available in an all-electric model as well.
