BJP 2024 Manifesto: The Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) on Sunday released its poll manifesto with the tagline “Modi ki Guarantee,” with a focus on more development, women’s welfare and a roadmap for “Viksit Bharat” (developed India).   • Will strengthen the network of AIIMS: We have established 15 AIIMS in the last decade through which affordable and quality health services have been made available to every section of the society. We will further strengthen the network of AIIMS to provide good health care to the entire country.
  • Will increase seats in medical education: We will increase seats in UG and PG medical education through new AIIMS and various new district-level medical colleges.
  • Will expand PM-ABHIM: We are upgrading secondary and primary health institutions under the PM-Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission. We will expand it and provide strong health facilities.
  • Ayushman will expand health temples: We will further improve Ayushman Arogya Mandirs for comprehensive health services. Will ensure comprehensive health facilities in district hospitals and secondary health institutions.
  • Will expand Jan Aushadhi Centers: We will make good medicines available to all citizens at low prices by expanding Jan Aushadhi Kendras.
  • Will start emergency and trauma care mission: We will launch Emergency and Trauma Care Mission for immediate and effective care of all trauma patients.
  • Will strengthen all disease eradication programs: We will accelerate all existing efforts to eradicate TB, leprosy, lymphatic filariasis, measles and rubella, trachoma and kala azar by providing timely testing and medicines.
  • Will accelerate vaccine research and production: We will encourage and support Indian vaccine manufacturers and bio-pharma companies to boost research and production.
  • Provision of training in health services: We will strengthen all existing programs to train paramedics, technicians, pharmacists and nurses.
  • We have envisioned a modern, universal and quality education in NEP 2020. We will provide future-friendly education to the students through a modern curriculum. We will ensure everyone the freedom to study and teach in their mother tongue. We will provide quality education to every student by focusing on all dimensions of education – training, infrastructure, technology, internships.
  • Will establish new institutions of higher education” We have established 7 IITs, 16 IIITs, 7 IIMs, 15 AIIMS, 315 medical colleges and 390 universities in the last decade. We are committed to strengthening these institutions and increasing the number of higher education institutions. We will continue to upgrade existing institutions through funding, capacity building, aging of infrastructure and research grants.
  • Will ensure accessible education through technology: We will expand technology based education facilities like SWAYAM, SWAYAM PRABHA and DIKSHA under PM e-Vidya.
  • Given the success of our digital initiatives, we will provide skill upgradation opportunities with free courses by setting up digital universities. We will ensure quality education. We will ensure every student gets the opportunity of quality education. To fulfill this objective, as per NEP, PM Shri. Will make the network of Eklavya and other schools world class. We will strive to take every child to school from pre-school to secondary level.
