Petrol, and Diesel Prices on December 16: Crude oil prices in the international market remain almost flat today. Around 6 am on Tuesday morning, WTI crude was being sold at $ 71.41 per barrel while remaining in the green. At the same time, Brent crude has reached $ 76.03 per barrel. Oil marketing companies in the country have released the latest rates of petrol and diesel. In India, fuel prices are revised every morning at 6 am. Before June 2017, price revision was done every 15 days.

The prices of petrol and diesel are increasing in many other states including West Bengal, Punjab, Maharashtra and Bihar. However, the change in prices at all these places is less than 50 paise. On the other hand, petrol and diesel have become cheaper by around 85 paise in Jammu and Kashmir. Apart from this, prices of petrol and diesel have also reduced in Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Odisha.

At present, petrol in Delhi is being sold at Rs 96.72 a litre while diesel is being sold at Rs 89.62 a litre. Whereas in Mumbai, petrol is available at Rs 106.31 and diesel at Rs 94.27 per litre. While petrol in Kolkata is Rs 106.03 and diesel is Rs 92.76 per litre. On the other hand, petrol is being sold at Rs 102.63 and diesel at Rs 94.24 per litre in Chennai.
