It is a multi-starrer as gorgeous ladies Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Richa Chadha, Aditi Rao Hydari and Sharmin Segal are playing pivotal roles. The series is a period drama. It narrates the story of courtesans who lived a royal life in Lahore back in 1940s. Further, the posters of cast members like Fardeen Khan, Shekhar Suman, son Adhyayan Suman and more piqued the excitement. But well, did you know, Heeramandi was earlier offered to a Pakistani actor? We are talking about Imran Abbas.

In a video shared by Quirkkistan, Imran Abbas is seen making the big revelation. He is talking about his career and the big Bollywood projects he rejected. He said that he was offered the lead role in Aashiqui 2 before Aditya Roy Kapur. He was also Aamir Khan’s film PK. Imran was offered the role of Sarfaraz before Sushant Singh Rajput. Even Guzarish starring Hrithik Roshan was offered to him. He was picked to play the role that was played by Aditya Roy Kapur in Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial. Last he reveals that he was also offered Heeramandi. He said that he did not reject the role but the movie got shelved. And now it is coming as a web series. The list also includes Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s Ram Leela that was again helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
