Muslim people to avoid travel by train and remain at home during Ram Mandir inauguration: Badruddin Ajmal

All India United Democratic Front President Badruddin Ajmal (AIUDF)on Saturday asked Muslims people to avoid travel by train and remain at home during the inauguration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on January 22.

Ajmal who is also an alumnus of Darul Uloon Deoband while talking to media persons said, “There will be huge movement of the Kar Sevaks (volunteers) from across the country. We do not want the repeat of what happened after Babri Masjid demolition.”

He said, “in the interest of the Muslim brethren and for the peace in the country, what is the harm if Muslims avoid travelling by train and remain indoors during the period.”

Ajmal who is also Lok Sabha MP said, “Across India volunteers are travelling in trains and buses. In a train compartment where there are large youths and if a couple of Muslims get caught up, there might be a problem.”

He added, “If some people think this is communal let it. This move is to save the people from any kind of confrontation.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to attend the consecration ceremony at the Ram Temple on January 22. The event has garnered significant attention, with several VVIP guests from India and abroad receiving invitations to participate in the auspicious occasion in Ayodhya.Vedic rituals for the Pran-Pratishtha (consecration) ceremony of Ram Lalla (infant Lord Ram) in Ayodhya will begin on January 16, a week before the main ceremony.
