A senior police official confirmed the arrests, stating that both accused individuals were apprehended in Bhuj, Gujarat, and are scheduled to be presented in a Mumbai court on Tuesday morning.
The incident, which occurred when two bikers fired shots outside Salman Khan’s house before fleeing the scene, raised concerns about the actor’s safety.Salman Khan has been under heightened security measures, particularly after threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, who previously issued threats against him.
Fortunately, Salman Khan was not present at home during the shooting, having stepped out for work engagements. The actor is slated to commence filming for his next project in June, emphasizing the need for ongoing security measures to safeguard against potential threats.
According to preliminary findings, the assailants arrived at the scene on a motorcycle, covering their faces under helmets, indicating a meticulously planned attack. They discharged a total of four rounds during the incident, leaving behind a live cartridge at the scene.
Since November 2022, Salman Khan’s security level has been elevated to Y-Plus due to threats from gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar. Khan has also been authorised to carry a personal firearm and has acquired a new armoured vehicle for added protection.
